How do I book?
Fill out the book now form. When I have received it, we can choose your package and session date. Once your sign the contract and pay your invoice it is officially booked.
Do I pick the location?
If you have a particular place in mind, please let me know, but I usually have a location in mind based on the season, what your vision is, and what you’re planning to wear. We can collaborate on this to pick the perfect place too. Limited Edition Curly Maple Sessions will always be held at the location picked by the photographer.
How far will you travel?
From Shelton: West to Montesano. North to Belfair or Hoodsport. East to Hawk Prairie. South to Centralia. A actual cost for travel fee based on the current federal reimbursement rate of 65.5 cents per mile plus the cost of operating the vehicle at 86 cents per hour for the round trip, will be added for destinations outside this area. Some exceptions do apply to limited edition mini sessions.
Do you do Engagement, Anniversary, and Maternity Portraits?
I do! I would be honored to help you celebrate these unique and special times in your life. All regular session can be used for any type of portrait photos. All photos can also be put into specialty packages such as putting Maternity and Newborn photos in a package for a package discount. Maternity sessions are recommended after your 28th week, but will not be scheduled beyond the 33rd week.
Do you photograph newborns?
I do! I photograph people of all ages, including newborns and infants. Newborn photos are recommended between days 7-10. The photographer will be “on-call” to schedule a session at home or hospital when scheduled in advance. Due to the need to move at baby’s pace, newborn sessions take a bit longer than a regular session. Pricing for newborns and infants applies to all babies until they can sit.
Do you do Senior Portraits?
I do! I would be honored to help you celebrate this accomplishment your life with unique photo’s that highlight your interests and personality. All regular session can be used for Senior Photos. Senior photos can also be put into specialty packages. The Celebration Maple Package is perfect for Senior Portraits and a cap and gown mini.
Do you do Event Photography?
I do! I take event gigs on a case-by-case basis. Please send me an inquiry for pricing which will be based on the event brief. I enjoy doing festivals, street fairs, private and public events. Sorry, I do not do wedding photography at this time.
Do you do Boudoir style photography?
No, not at this time.
What other photography do you do?
I also do Business Branding Photography and Real Estate. I am open to other kinds of photography too. If you don’t see what your are looking for, please send me a message.
Can I bring my pets?
Sure! I recommend bringing an extra pair of hands to hold your pet when they’re not in the images, it can get too hot to leave them in the car.

When will we receive our images?
Turnaround time is 3-4 weeks, sometimes sooner. Need your photos back sooner? I offer a 48 hour rush fee.
How much do you alter the images?
I do minor acne retouching and color adjustments, but I will not alter your body (Please, no “make me skinny” requests!). Please let me know if you like black & white or sepia tone photos, I will be sure to include some for you!
How long will be images be available for download?
Images will be available for download from the online gallery for 90 days. After that they will be removed from the download gallery and removed from the photographer’s hard drive. If you would like to have your images stored on a USB Drive, I do offer that service for a small fee.
How do I choose what to wear?
Portraits are an expression of your personality, they convey your identity and story, please wear whatever you prefer. If you are still not sure, stick with light colored neutrals or feel free to ask.
Can I bring my own props or heirlooms?
Sure! Please let me know ahead of time.
How do I change my outfit during the photoshoot?
This will be your responsibility. Consider keeping your car nearby, locating the bathrooms (if any) upon arrival or creating a mobile changing closet, bring your clothes on hangers, bringing an extra set of hands to help you out, or change only your shirt. The key is to make a plan before the day of the shoot!
What if the weather is bad?
Sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. In the event weather is not appropriate for pictures, we will reschedule for the next available time. All weather reschedules are at the photographer’s discretion.
What if I need to cancel?
If you cancel, you will forfeit your non-refundable 50% deposit. Your best option is to reschedule for the next available time that works for both of us.
